Conflict can feel risky, messy, even dangerous to wade into and sort out. It is very tempting to avoid dealing with the core issues that are generating conflict for your team. It can make a world of difference to have a professional facilitator/mediator assist in that work. An outside voice can help keep discussions on track, defuse angry moments in skillful and useful ways, and help people get to the resolution they need, as well as train that team in the skills they need to deal with conflict effectively on their own.
